Hoop It Up

Isaac just finished up his first season of rec basketball.  I wasn't expecting much from 1st/2nd grade basketball, but the boys did great!  I was really impressed with how well the understood an played the game.  Isaac seemed to really enjoy himself, and was an excellent defender.

Gap Tooth Grin

Isaac finally lost his first tooth this week!  I'm scared to see what gigantic adult tooth is going to grow in this spot.

The Broncos did what?

So did you know that the Broncos were supposed to be in the Superbowl this weekend?  But somehow we lost that playoff game a couple weeks ago.  Here are the kids after the game.  I told them to look sad, but Delia couldn't do it.



Christmas '12

We had a wonderful Christmas this year (well, technically last year I guess.)  As usual my attempts to keep things nice and simple were a failure, but we had fun none the less. See how happy everyone was Christmas morning?

Santa brought a trampoline Christmas morning!  The box is still sitting in our living room (and the cats love to lounge on it.)  Hopefully the snow will melt in the backyard by April and the kids can get excited about this trampoline!

Princess Delia.  This year we had the kids buy presents for eachother so they could experience thinking of somone else for at least two seconds.  They actually had a great time and picked wonderful gifts for each other.

Isaac scored this amazing guitar!!  A friends of Matt's gave it to him and Matt is giving him lessons now.  Isaac loves to plug into the amp...

We finally have snow.  Well, that's how the kids feel- FINALLY! I was happy with 50 degree December weather, but I should be living somewhere tropical instead of in the Colorado mountains.  The kids played all afternoon...

Miles and Delia galloped into my room the other day as cowboy and cowgirl in their pj's.  Lassos made from belts complete the look.  I love when they play together nice like this!

 Isaac had a totally awesome Ninjago party to turn seven.  He has been playing with all his new Ninjago Legos ever since.  We love seeing him grow up- he is definitely not a little boy anymore.  He's turned into a very smart, fun, loyal friend and a great big brother.  We love you so much Isaac!



Thanksgiving '12

This year we had Thanksgiving dinner at my brother's house across the street.  It was great!  Three turkeys (roasted, fried, and smoked) and no meltdowns- total success.  We spent some time with the kids talking about all the things we are thankful for- too many to count!
