Decorating for Christmas

This weekend we put Christmas trees up in the coffee shop and our house. Isaac's specialty seems to be putting candy canes on the trees.

Delia wasn't much help, but she liked looking at the lights...

I finally cleaned up Delia's room enough to take some pictures for her baby book. I really love the way it turned out.

Thanksgiving 07

We had an awesome Thanksgiving this year- so much to be thankful for, especially our 2 wonderful kids. This is basically my only picture of the day- Isaac with his pants off and Mommy's shoes on. We can't wait to show this to future dates. All Isaac can say is "No yam ball for you, Uncle Jason!"

Isaac turns 2

We had a little family birthday party for Isaac. He was getting sick so he wasn't quite himself, but we did have cake (he was grumpy and didn't want to do the candles)...

...he tried his hand at his first pinata (homemade by Oma!)...

... and opened presents- some favorites included a scooter (a "soda" according to Isaac) and trike (or a RED BIKE!!! as Isaac puts it.) Fun was had by all!

Delia at one month

Delia is a month old today! It's going by so fast. We are enjoying her so much- everything except the not sleeping at night part. She's great!

Siblings

We don't have many pictures of the kids together, so I wanted to have a little photo shoot. Easier said than done... it was tough to find a time when they were both awake and not crying or eating. Here's the product of our little attempt.

They finally started working on the park down the street from our house. Isaac LOVES to go down there and play! Delia is still too little to get excited about it.

Coffee House

I finally took some pictures of the coffee house. They poured the cement for the patio yesterday and Isaac got to put his hand print in it. The benefits of being a namesake!

Halloween

Isaac was a cowboy for Halloween this year- here he is with his trusty horse "Diamond" and singing "Home on the Range." We didn't get to actual trick-or-treating this year- Isaac was having a grumpy night, but we did have fun painting the pumpkins and watching the Charlie Brown Great Pumpkin special. Delia slept through most of her first Halloween and didn't even get dressed up- I didn't want to leave her out, though, so here's a picture of her with Dad!
