Look Ma! No training wheels!

One of our goals for the kids this summer is to have them finally learn how to ride bikes.  After thinking about buying a balance bike for years we finally just took the training wheels and peddles off Isaac and Delia's bikes.  Duh- I don't know why we didn't think of this before!  After about a week and a half of learning to balance Isaac got his peddles back- he basically jumped on his bike and rode off down the street.  It was awesome!  He wants to ride everyday now.  We think Delia should be ready for her peddles soon, too.  This was such a fun "first" for us as parents- way to go Isaac!

Miles wants to get in on the bike riding action, too.  Here he is working on this trike with a trusty wrench...

Watching Pop

Apparently watching Pop mow the yard is fascinating.  This was a rare, chaos-free moment in our house...

Go Broncos!

Doesn't football season seem like a long time ago?  Just trying to catch up all our pictures since January... the kids loved cheering for the Broncos this year.  I think this was taken at the last playoff game- the kids love wearing their orange and blue!
Miles doesn't understand much about football except how to go "TOUCHDOWN!" with his brother and that Tebow means Broncos.  That last part will need some work come August...

Kittens!

In January we went to pick out a new kitten and ended up with two!  This is Mozie-
and his sister Maeve.
They are fun and crazy, and we are pretty crazy to get two more animals but we are all having a good time with them.  Can you tell that the kids absolutely love them?  I think I must say "Leave that cat alone!!"  at least ten times a day.
Mojo has adjusted to sharing the house and the backyard with little kittens.  Despite a scary incident where Mojo tried to bite Mozie's face off (Delia, Miles and I are forever traumatized!), Mozie is still trying to be Mojo's very best friend.  Maeve tries to jump on his back sometimes and take a ride- all our family pets are providing lots of entertainment and joy!
