2007 Year in Review

Instead of sending a Christmas letter with our cards this year I decided to post it on our blog (because it is so much easier). Here's a very brief over view:
January-
Matt's leading a small group at our church. We take Salsa lessons, and Matt's hips really hurt.
February-
We find out we were expecting our second child. Yeah! Sarah is taking tap classes through the local dance center.
March-
Sarah turns 31(!) and launches into months of severe "morning" sickness.
April-
Our niece, Audrey Bong, is born in Iowa.
May-
We FINALLY sell our house in Greeley. Sarah finally starts to feel better. Matt stops welding and begins to manage "the stores" (Skyridge Liquors, Skyridge Village Market) full time. It was a great month.
June-
Isaac has his first trip to the ER with a broken arm. We find out we are having a little girl.
July-
Matt turns the big 3-0 and is playing rec league softball for the Steaming Armadillos. He also gets his first gold crown on his teeth (he's getting old)
August-
We open the coffee shop (IKE'S).
September-
We are keeping busy with the stores- Matt is keeping everyone happy- employees, vendors, customers- and Sarah keeps doing the books from home in the midst of Mom duties.
October-
Our little girl, Delia Jane, is born on the 18th. Sarah's brother, Ben, gets married. We celebrate another anniversary- 4 years of wedded bliss!
November-
Isaac turns 2. We mark being in our house a whole year. Matt plays winter league basketball.
December-
We enjoy the festivities of the Christmas season and look back on another great year. God has blessed us immeasurably and continues to provide for us in every way. We are so grateful!
Wishing you all a very happy New Year!!

Fun at Grandma's

More pictures of us having fun in Monument.

Snow Day

Isaac finally got out to play in the snow at Grandma's house. He had no interest in sledding or making snowballs- he only wanted to help Papa shovel.

Christmas 07

We had a great Christmas this year- all three of them. We did a Christmas at my (Sarah's) parent house, Christmas morning at our home with just the 4 of us, and one more at Matt's mom house. Fun was had by all- we had plenty of snow to make everything feel festive- Isaac is finally old enough to really appreciate it- Delia was great (and mostly slept) through it all.

Our tree in our entryway Christmas morning

The 4 of us Christmas morning

Isaac's custom tool bench made by Oma and Grandpa- this thing is so cool!

Isaac with his "goo-tar!" (guitar)
Stockings I made us- not quite done yet, but I'm sure I'll finish them by Christmas next year

I & D

Isaac has taken to sticking stickers on Delia's forehead, too. What a pair!

Delia at 2 months

New picts of Delia looking so pretty! We can't belive how big she is... Isaac grew much slower. In pretty much every other way she seems to be following in her brother's footsteps, though. I think I will have 2 wild children soon.

Smiles!

It's so much fun to have Delia smiling now. I finally caught some on camera.

Crafty Christmas

One of Isaac's favorite Christmas decorations this year is this little wooden reindeer Matt made in 6th grade. Isaac has broken it a couple times, but Papa keeps fixing him.

Big brother hugs

I love it when Isaac tells Delia "Love you sister!"

Just like Your Momma

When Isaac was born we looked at our baby pictures to see who Isaac looked like- obviously it was Matt! So we did the same with Delia- guess who she looks like?
(the first 3 pictures are Delia, the rest are me-Sarah)

Little One

Here's some new pictures of Delia- she has started smiling, but I haven't been able to capture it with the camera yet!

Sticker Happy

We've started giving Isaac stickers when he is good or to keep him happy at the end of the day when I an exhausted and waiting for Matt to come home. For some reason he only wants to put them on his forehead.

Gingerbread Train

This weekend we bought a gingerbread train kit for Isaac. Look at all the fun we had putting it together (Isaac only cried a little bit about not getting to eat ALL the candy)...
