Last week our house was plagued with sickness- super high fevers, hacking coughs and zero sleep. Ugh! When Easter arrived all five of us were still feeling pretty bad, so it put a damper on one of our favorite days. Despite getting almost no sleep, the kids woke nice and early to see what the Easter Bunny had brought: eggs filled with goldfish crackers and Lego people and a bunch of new books. Even Miles had fun reading with Pop...
Easter egg hunt in the living room. Isaac looks so tired. It was freezing and raining (what would a Colorado Easter be without freezing temperatures?!) so we kept everything inside. 
We did manage to make it to church- arriving late and leaving early. I'm hoping we are well next year and can celebrate properly!

Today we went to a western themed birthday party, and Delia couldn't wait to wear her cowgirl duds- BLACK hat and BLACK bandanna as black is currently her very most favorite color.
She rode a horse for the first time and LOVED it. She looks like a natural up there! She has been telling me lately that she wants to be a fire fighter when she grows up, but maybe after today we have a future trick rider in the family.
