Delia just got this hopper ball as a bribe, I mean reward for potty training (yeah! finally), and Isaac thought it would be a good idea to ride it down the stairs. Apparently when he lost control he grabbed the gate we have screwed into the wall at the top of the stairs. He tore the gate out of the wall, leaving giant holes in the drywall, and crashed into the landing leaving the giant gouge pictured above. Thankfully he wasn't hurt too bad, but isn't this stuff supposed to happen when my kids are older? Adding lots of spackling to the weekend to-do list.

That is amazing...mostly that he's ok. If it were one of our kiddos...most likely Rachel...she'd be seriously injured and smiling like nothing happened!
